What have you done to your ride lately?

Aluminum color? That's what the drag guy does. I really do wish did not have the lug centric nuts on these wheels - it would mess up the look! lol

Sadly I have no idea. Still in the tube sitting next to my brand new/3 year old ceramic coated headers and ARP studs waiting for some lazy ass to throw a new engine in.

I always put a dab on standard anti seize on my wheel studs to stop corrosion from welding them together. If I didn't there is no way I'd ever get them off. The Gorilla lug nutz I got are junk and rust out within a single winter season.

Boy did I get a lashing from my hero's man. He's glad that I use the OE wheels with the OE spec hub centric specs and mfg tolerances but he HATES that they do not have the hub centric lug nuts.

Yea, that's bad. Last guys truck I helped work on who had them did not go so good. We were putting a lift on it and when he was taking his tires off with a lug wrench (no impacts) almost half his wheel studs broke while removing them. I didn't put 2 and 2 together earlier and Id bet that could be part of your issue.

Yeah; slight upgrade from 4.10s but the 4Runner moves nicely with the 4.30s in the rear axle. Overall the 4.30s will go nicely with 32" tires and daily driving use. Did I mention I bought the Transgo shift kit from Chris for the transmission? I am looking forward to getting this thing put together for a Big Bend trip in December.

Opened up a few holes on a wheel. Should make it faster.

One of my Toyota Rep Friends, when I asked what I could get on eBay or Craigslist, he came back with:

"Pfffft. You now have the COOLEST garden hose hoop ever."

:)

Think those rims would be repairable enough to work on an expo trailer?

Right.. plus I bet it would be $200 to "fix" it... if they could.
