I like Rogers idea to just drill it out and put a fender washer on top with those nylock nuts.

It's been a complete pain in my ass. I've got a friend who hopefully will take a look at it soon. But I've been wondering if my final option is just to drill it out and tap it larger. Just not sure where to go to get that done. I don't have the tools to do it.

I just ran a smaller diameter bolt through the hole and used washers. You can get to the top of it through the cross member.

Common guys, confirm bolt size and get the right drill and tap, it's not even expensive to do it the right way.

@BeaverYota take the bolt out of the other side and confirm the size, I'd be willing to bet it's 10 x 1.25 mm but that's just a guess. If you don't have a way to measure the bolt then you can take it to a home improvement or auto parts store and try to match it up to a bolt of known size, you'll need a bolt anyway. Once you know the size then order the right drill bit & tap set from Amazon, 2 days later you are golden.

Bolts didn't show up.. Not surprisingly USPS's tracking system is shit.

Also, ran out of welding gas and the welding supply store is closed. Damnit!

More wiring today... got the wire ran from my brake light up through the bed cage and its ready to be connected to the third brake light on the cage. I used a weatherpack connector to allow me to remove the cage later. Also got the 100 amp relay wired up minus the switched power. And finally I replaced the big Kicker fuse block that broke with a new one. New one I mounted up on a section of 1"x1" box that is threaded and I threaded the bottom mount as well so no nuts. (insert joke here). #eatingtheelephant

Same here. After all that work I'm now pulling to the driver side when braking hard so that caliper is going out. so f**k it, just gonna go for it and hope for the best. I ordered green stuff pads instead of OEM too.

If you're missing your brake bleeder caps you need to replace them. I had rust and water come out of them while bleeding the brakes. (I have no idea where mine went out why they were missing).
