What have you done to your ride lately?

tiedowns are cheap and also easy to make. Just saying.

Good lord - it is fine. Damn thing is wedged in there with a grip tighter than a priest's grip on a the alter boy. When my new battery gets here Tuesday I am looking to make a proper box for it.

Long late night in the shop last night. Bought and installed the new starter. last one tested bad. Installed the lube locker rear diff seal (still need to add fluid). Re-bled the brakes and now i have a nice firm pedal. Finally cut the drivers bed side off the donor bed and got it cut/trimmed/hacked up to fit. The bedsides really complete the look IMO.

I have a long list of little shit i need to get done before i can load it on the trailer tonight.

:shifty: I spied me some Dirt Squirrel in action on the trail pics today!! Looking damn good!!:applaudit::headbang::beer-toast1:

Drove up to Dallas today to pickup my front struts/coilovers/whatever you want to call them. Gonna get them put in tomorrow at Aaron's. Should come out about 2.5" lift over current.

Laundry Fairy and I test drove a 15 GX460 this afternoon, she liked them better than the Trail, TRD, Limited 4R's we drove last month

Are those coil over magnetic fluid? ;) What are those those connectors for?

To be honest, I'm not real sure. Think it has something to do with the adaptive ride controls or whatever it's called. The little switch on the dash that you can set to "comfort" or "sport" ride setting.

Edit: After a quick Google, it appears that's exactly what they're for.

So you are keeping the Ride control? I'm going to junk it and just pop in some 5100's

For right now. These are just stock setup with Toytec spacers. After the Arkansas trip in October I'll be replacing everything with the Toytec Boss kit and the ride control will be going away then.

Though I've messed with it a lot and I've never been able to tell a difference between comfort and sport. Might be because I have KDSS and it overpowers it? Or maybe the system just doesn't work anymore. I don't know.

Whats the deal with KDSS? Not sure mine has it. Maybe it does...

Hydraulically actuated swaybar to help keep traction. If yours has the Sport package, you have it. That's pretty much what the Sport package is. You can tell if you have the Sport package by the wood grain on your dash. If the wood is orangeish in color you don't have the sport package. If it's a charcoal color like mine in the picture below, you do have it.

Cool. I do not have to mess with that junk. The less moving stuff the better. I'm hearing the air control valve move around in the dash. Gonna have to replace it some time.

Yeah I've heard good stuff about KDSS. I'll leave it as is for now but if something on the system breaks, it'll be coming off. Not gonna pay to fix it. Only noises I have is a weird knocking behind my driver's seat (can't tell if it's underneath the truck or in the rear DS door panel) and an exhaust tick from our shitty ass exhaust manifolds.

I installed the LED fogs I got from @balakay
Also dropped my spare tire in prep of installing a fridge slide tomorrow.
