Would that work for my machine gun?

Guess you should have stayed in your own tent in AR, your ass is probably still sore.
No.. barely felt a thing. I'd say it was like a roll of dimes but that's giving you too much credit. That being said.. I didn't push back.
I'm jealous of your shopReplaced the oil cooler and new orings and gaskets on the tow pig. The 7.3s have a common leak area here when the orings get brittle. It looked like my truck sneezed out a negro when I started it out in the snow last week
Messiest job to date, had to drain oil and coolant and shit still comes out of the log as there's no direct way to drain the heat exchanger.

Appears I blew out the inner boot on my drivers side RCV axle. Must have snagged it last weekend at the farm driving down to the creek on some mesquite. Anyhow, ordered a set of boots from RCV (damn things are darn near as much $$ as buying a spare axle.. no shit.. $46 a pop). Also ordered a new trail spare axle. The plan is to replace the axle with spare. Rebuild the axle in my "free time" and then redo it. I need to get the truck inspected before the end of the month so that is why I ordered the spare. So hopefully it warms up a smidge tomorrow so I can clean up the garage a bit and get it ready. I also ordered new UCA bolts (the long bastards) and I have new uniballs sitting here so once I get the CV rebuilt I'll be rebuilding the UCA's as well.
Edit... posting this here so I don't lose it.

So my damn CV boots are not in yet.. will call tomorrow as they were supposed to be here early last week. Anyhow, I decided to pull the old and replace with the new trail spare. I will swap them back out once boots are here and rebuilt. But I sorta fucked myself. When I installed my Kings I had someone help me, and they managed to use a SAE UCA nut (the one that connects it to the spindle) and threaded it onto the lower shock mount bolt. I said fuck it at the time because I wanted it done and it was not going anywhere.. he got it snug! Boy was I right. In order to pull the CV I needed to disconnect the lower shock mount... or pull the bump stop.. it would not slide past either. Bump stop is a Wheelers Super Bump and it uses an 8mm allen to get it out.. bolt is way up inside the rubber stopper. Normally I pull it when the LCA is completely down using a longer allen key or one on a socket. So I decided to pull the shock bolt since the normal way to pull the bump was to disconnect teh shock anyhow. Ahh but I forgot about what happened before with the wrong nut and that thing just spins now. Either way really.. plus I had a dirty ass CV axle right in the way. So I cut down an 8mm allen key and inserted into a 3/8 8mm socket and viola.. worked great. Its out, I plan to cut down another allen key and weld both into a 3/8's socket, one for the trail bag and one for home. Now I really wish I had a parts washer.. thing is nasty!

I vote you install a dishwasher in your garageMan that is a deal!! But I think I'll just spend a couple bones and get my own. I do appreciate the offer though.![]()
Yeah, not gonna install a dishwasher in the garage... unless she is cute.
