It has to do with cost. Costs more to maintain a diesel overtime...and the new diesels are not user friendly whatsoever...I bet it has to do with all the diesel emission crap/DEF

Sorry Scott, I was agreeing with what you said as well. Just realized my comment didn't come off that way.Oh I agree, those farmers/ranchers are on a trend down here, trade in diesel and drive out with a gasser
Thanks. I ordered some that should be here this week. I just wanted to check it off my list as I have a busy one this week.![]()
Yeah don't use those. They are junk and not reusable...
That bumper sure makes those tires look small on the 4Runner .
Curious - did the bumper have any other gussets or bracing for welding to the frame? It looks good on there.
Bumper came welded up bare metal and mounting points looked beef already. The mounting points on the runner were what I welded thicker plate to. Place called Kore 4x4 or something similar had them pre fabbed. Basically just cut the weld nuts off the back, drill out the holes to 1/2", mount the plate, weld the new nuts, and weld the plate. She's not gonna be winching, but wanted a little added strength. When I pull my bumper off my truck to fix the winch, I'll do the same, but add some gussets to the frame.
It does need more than that...it'll still rip off from the frame as well.Frame horns are pretty thin. IMO it needs more than just that.
