X2. I need a daily driver...we pay off my wife's car in August so I'm gonna bug her about getting an SUV and taking over her car.I was thinking about this yesterday....
...haven't you had the Tacoma and the Civic for a while now? All of a sudden because you get the Tacoma running you have to ditch the civic? I would pitch the reliability and gas mileage of the civic as a daily driver and the utility of the "work truck" for house projects and camping trips. Get the Tacoma the cheapest liability only insurance you can find and keep both. While none of the things on your list are "major" (meaning you should be able to do them all yourself), it's still a decent sized list.
Yeah Honda is doing the same with the CVT transmissions. I'm worried about my Mother-in-Law's new Honda SUV. Kinda crazy to see that Honda reliability is going downhill.I dont care to keep the civic. Sure 35mpg is great but with bad knees, the clutch is a bitch and a half if I drive more than 30 minutes or so at once. I'd rather put the money toward buying 5-10 acres sometime next year. Not to mention they're having problems with oil dilution in these 1.5T engines and Honda isnt doing shit about it. Just calling it normal and brushing it off.
