Finally reinstalled my center console and got the shifters buttoned up. Took it for a drive last night and the new clutch and TOB feel great compared to the old setup.

Ended up using a piece of umhw I drilled out to thread onto the twin sticks, works great to hold up my custom crown royal boots lol

TOR chop shop day lol I remember seeing a 1st gen 4Runner get stripped down to the basics in a day in Bryan one time.

We just need to do a Nascar pit stop in the middle of the night. Drive up - we all get out - put his cars on blocks - take his wheels and put them in a pile in the front yard.

Then Roger can take pics and report him.

These things were more costly than I imagined. With my discount, I paid $135.

Yep, I was at about $160 for the 4 on my truck.

Why does one of them have a hole in it? And different bolts? Something about this doesnt look right.

They are different on the front and rear cams of the LCA. The two on the right, which I think are the forward two have a bolt through a sleeve. The one on the left, which I think is the bolt toward the rear is just the bolt.

fronts are handed and rears not or vise versa ~ I forget it's been so long.

I had a good write up on them back in the day in my build (circa 2011 lol but Photobucket is all screwed up so my pics are incorrect).

You do not need to buy all the parts new unless you have to cut them out like I did and even then I still reused some of the sleeves I didn't need to cut out.

I could certainly use the old ones but I didn't want to! lol

You just didn't have the opportunity to do so yet - the old ones will make great trail spares

Actually, they've been through a lot. Those LCAs are less forgiving than stock, rubber bushings.

Finally fixing my power saver relay in the ford and converting the cluster lights to LEDs

Power saver relay?

And yeah, those cluster LED's were always going out on the 7.3's. I do like how you can swap in a cluster with a lower mileage count if you wanted too lol

They starting to look like the front lower shock bolts to the LCA where half of the shaft gets worn away/through?

within the cluster there is a power/battery saver relay which cuts off power to the radio, interior lights, windows. Those are known to go out after a while, mine has been intermittent since i bought it. It gets really annoying because it's unpredictable and when it happens you can put the windows back up

NO windows or radio for 30-60sec??? - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
