When I started doing my own upgrades I decided that I would pay someone to do any needed work to the trans, front and rear diff....... yeah I didn't have a choice I had to do it myself.

Yep, ECGS rebuilt my F&R diffs and locked them both. They did 3 e-licker rears before I had them do an 8.4 (after I did an axle swap). I would not want to tear into a front clamshell. Sadly with RCV axles up front the clam-shell is now my fuseable link. Fucked that up I guess. Lucky it sees more days in the garage.

No, I am thinking about it but that is a chunk of money I am not sure I want to spend yet.

Right now I want to find the new creaks and squeaks that I noticed after putting it all back together.
Maybe they were there before and I am just now noticing them since I am looking for problems from doing work I wasn't comfortable doing in the first place.

Put diesel in it for the first time in months it feels like. Had fuel points at Kroger's so right at $50 top up.

I need to go buy diesel for mine as well.. don't recall the last time I filled it up. $1.51 is pretty cheap!

So i found my creak. It was the bottom shock mount on my toytec aluma 2.0. Called them up and i will have replacements with an updated lower shock mount on Tuesday with a return label for the old coil overs.

That is some bad ass service!

Was it cracked or what?

I have a scraping sound on my front passenger wheel only when I make a right turn though. Will check it out this weekend and hopefully it is an easy thing.

Interested to see the difference in the shock mounts old vs new. I have the 2.0 Alumas as well. Though not on a 5th gen.
