Best way to troubleshoot blown fuse is to replace with a lightbulb and hand trace the circuits lifting leads/connectors starting closest to the fuse and working out.

Interesting. I will look into this. I've never had to troubleshoot a fuse before.
Imo solder connections blow.... literally.
Summer heat + vibrations = zap I bet.
Got no issues tinning before crimping but solder alone always gave me issues until I stopped doing it. Now I only rely on mechanical means of attachment.
Your truck moves less than mineThe reason solder connections fail is either bad prep or exposure to the elements causing corrosion which weakens the connection and/or causes high resistance. My battery connections and connections to winch have all been soldered and heat shrunk for 10 years with no issues.

Cant fatigue a joint that's never under load/used.
I'll stick with aviation/maritime/fleet grade methods.
After about a day or two you don't even know you have it.You do have the electronic steering? How do you like it?

I really don't know where else to put any. Not enough room behind or under the seats.Only has door speakers so far.
