Easy job, just need a 21mm open ended wrench I believe.Nope, headed to the dealership so they can tell me it's not covered under the 90 day warranty they gave on the truck.

Man that's some bullshit. You know they cleared those codes before they sold it to you hoping you would take it somewhere else to get fixed.Check engine light came on tonight. P0430 catalytic converter code. More than likely the O2 sensors. Going back to the dealership because they warrantied it for 90 days/4000 miles. Fucking Ford.
They are easy, there should be at least 2, maybe 4 of them.I bought from Autonation Ford like an hour away. So I took it to the Autonation Ford that's like 10 minutes away and they told me it would be 5-7 days before they could have a technician look at it. So I called the dealership I bought it from and got a run around. So I came home and cleared the light. If it comes back on, which I'm sure it will, I'll replace the O2 sensor myself. $100 or whatever it costs is worth it to not have to drive to fucking Frisco and back.
Man truck sizes, not Toyota21mm seems big for an O2 sensor.
. They typically vary between 19-21mm on most fords. 21mm is like a 7/8 in size, that's not very big
1+2 are usually the problem, better dust off that $100Yeah looks like the OEM sensors are Bosch. Rockauto has them for $18 a piece. If I end up changing them, I'll do both downstream sensors. Not going to mess with the upstream if I don't have to since they're $50 a piece.
Put your foot in it every once in a whileBeen over 100 miles now and the light hasn't come back on and there's no codes showing. If they come back on I'll swap the sensors. If not, I won't worry about it unless it starts causing issues. Right now it's running fine and mileage isn't taking a hit or anything.
I have beenPut your foot in it every once in a while
It's not VVTI........but it is way betterI have been

Anyone have any experience with the Vertex Offroad seat covers? My original plan was to go with Katzkin leather replacement but I just can't justify spending a couple thousand bucks on it. The Vertex are just leather seat covers but they seem to have good reviews and seem to fit well. They come in just under $800 shipped so a big savings there. Or I could just go with Wet Okole though I'd prefer the leather I think.
Having that latch is nice, no idea why it's not factory.Got the OEM tailgate damper installed today thanks to some help from my BIL. Ordered a rear seat latch from BuiltRight so I can now fold the seat back forward easier on the driver side to have access to the jumper cables and ARB tire repair kit.
I agree.. although when I installed mine I discovered there is no room back there. A bunch of factory shit is there.Having that latch is nice, no idea why it's not factory.
