What have you done to your ride lately?

I only had a half pound of freon so no wonder it was struggling to cool down. Vacuum test was good so hopefully no leaks. Blows SO cold now.
Oh it's got a leak, freon doesn't get used up lol.
If it passed a vacuum test then it's probably only leaking under pressure.

They added dye so if it starts blowing hot again then the leak can be addressed.

im sure you have a small leak somewhere, it’s a sealed system so the only way to be low on charge is a leak. Hopefully it’s slow enough where it’s happening over several years.

Hopefully it's not the evap coil then. You would most likely only see the dye in the condensation drips I test all mine with nitrogen.

You can use a blacklight to check for leaks.

Got my traction board mounts all done, now to weld them onto the rack. I ordered another magnetic digital angle gauge, allow me to put one on the rack and one on the mount to ensure they are aligned. It will be here tomorrow so I hope to have that doneski. I keep postponing the wiring in the toolbox.

If your air conditioning is not blowing as cold as it should, you have a leak. A/C refrigerant doesn’t get used up. It only requires a recharge if there’s a leak. A very small leak could take a long time to show symptoms

There was actually an issue with Toyota underfilling A/C systems for a few year models. I know mine was affected because it never blew ice cold from the day I bought it. I finally got the system recharged right before my first daughter was born (I wanted to make sure she was comfortable on hot summer days) and now it blows ice cold.

Ordered an upper right engine mount, engine torque bar, rear rotors and pads for the S60. The dealership we normally go to was sold off to another owner and their pricing is insane now (I guess they are trying to pay for the new dealership they are building in town now). I ordered all the parts I needed for less than the rear brake job they quoted me.

Weirdly enough, the engine mount swaps looks like it will be easier than the rear brake job from what I've seen online.

Looks like the Ford is going to become the vehicle I own for the shortest amount of time. Been chasing some vibrations the last few days. Took it to a transmission shop today finally and it needs a torque converter for $1500. But they said the fluid is so burnt and in such bad shape that it’s got 20-25k miles before it needs a complete rebuild to the tune of $5-6k.
