Completed the 30hr service, and wiped excessive used grease off the pivot points this morning. Headed to top off with diesel and get back out in the bush.

Completed the 40hr service.

The Laundry Fairy picked up my air ride seat from the dealer, so on the 50 hr service, I will have to tip cab back and replace hydraulic filter and that will give me access to the seat bolts as well.

50 hour completed with Hydraulic oil filter changed. I let my youngest knock out the revolving 10 hour of greasing and air filter.

Definitely not gonna wait the 50 hours interval to clean the cabin filter again,, holy cow that was caked. Probably gonna start cleaning that every 20 hours.

But I did manage to upgrade my office chair to air ride! It was a bit of pita, heavy sob to pull the seat out and install. I had to swap the bases out with the slides and spacers etc. Made in England explains the backorder and $700 costs.

Not surprised the air filter is clogged considering the dirt environment you are working in. I bet it is two or three times dustier than most construction sites.

Probably so, working in this drought soil, it was nice not to have dust for the 2 days with that small amount of rain.

I already saw a dust devil/tornado come across the area I just stripped. Hopefully we can get som significant rain, after I level everything out, I do plan on doing a very sparse seeding, or just wait on the future cast and then broadcast some seed.

Attempted to start the 2rz in the red truck tonight. Fail.. Starter works great though..battery got a little drained. Purged some old fuel out of the system since there were a few leaks. Fuck.

By 10:27am the heat index here at the farm was at 100* and as of 90minutes ago, I'm done for the day, heat index currently 106 and climbing to about 112* today, just added some armor to the hydraulic manifold on my Orange.

Before.

Pretty sure this was designed to also place Praise Jesus Coldbeers, while the machine is going through the service intervals.

This is my "shocked" face. 😐
It was never supposed to stick around. Needed a vehicle after I rolled the Tacoma and couldn’t find anything I liked. Hell, still can’t find anything I like. At least not that I’m willing to pay for. Maybe someday I’ll be able to justify a $60k truck but that’s definitely not right now.

Feel the same way. Only truck I'd want right now is a F250/F350 but I don't want to pay that price or the price per gallon for diesel.
