What have you done to your ride lately?

Changed oil in Taco this morning, thought it was garden snake hanging out under the hood, nope, it was 3' copper head!!!

I changed oil then preceded to get the snake out. If this ever happens again, the snake goes before the oil change!

So it might need to be driven more often.

Truck parked near the trailer trash house, I got 3 farm cats, and they pretty much get everything. This was the first venomous snake encounter since I've owned the place.

Replaced both batteries on the 5.9 funnings. Used the new ride to take batteries to the farm truck.
$179 each at Wallyworld.

Because one hand on the wheel and the other on the shifter/e brake for drifting, you don't need an armrest lol

Got the top and sides cut off of the trailer and got it moved into the garage. Wife isn’t happy about giving up her parking space for a couple of weeks. Going to cut the rest of the uprights off and start cleaning it all up. Going to be a lot of wirewheeling but at least it’s been stored inside so it’s all just light surface rust. Once I have it stripped down to just the frame I’m going to add some 1.5” angle uprights and cap it off with some 1”x3” tubing. Slap a wood floor in it and a spare tire carrier and toolbox over the tongue and she should be good to go. Dimensions inside the rails should end up being 64”x126” so it will be perfect for my needs.

I swapped my blades in the Kubota the other day for a set of freshly sharpened ones, I will sharpen the spare set as time permits. I also greased all the mower deck zerks and FEL and BH zerks. This order just came in, time to change the oil and air filters. Damn Biden has driven the price up since I last bought these a few years ago, this little pile is $250 worth

Got the rest of the subframe cut off of the trailer and ground everything smooth. All I have left is to take the galvalume sheeting off the bottom and tack all the screw holes shut but it looked like a storm was rolling in so I rolled it back in the garage for the day. Planning on taking the trailer to work with me Friday night and when it comes home Saturday or Sunday morning, it should have rails and maybe lights depending how busy we are this weekend. Going to go ahead and wire it up as a 7-pin since my truck doesn’t have a 4-pin receptacle on it. Doubt I’ll ever have a need to put brakes on the trailer but if I do, the wiring will be there already.

Wait - missing panel? Like they just did not install it or did not design the car with it?

Apparently people were complaining of blower motor noises, and this panel was never installed from the factory on the GR corollas (perhaps for weight savings?). I ordered one from the corolla sedan from this generation and it clips in just fine. To be honest, you can't even notice it unless you're under the passenger seat by the glovebox looking but the part apparently is "discontinued" and hard to find so I figured I'd order it once I found it available from a local dealer.
