lol @ the muddy speaker vents. Took me something like 20 minutes poking mud out of the holes with a toothpick when I did mine

I used a stiff bristle brush to do the best I could. While I am not a big audio guy; I know this setup needs to get replaced. The head unit is going out and the speakers sound like a phone in the bottom of a tin can.

Rear axle is ready for the shafts to be pulled out in the morning and taken to a local machine shop in the morning. I think I got lucky with my timing. The passenger side was obviously blown out but the driver's side was just starting to show signs of the leak when I pulled the drum off. Overall not bad timing.

Hopefully I am done with rear axles issues now. The bearing swaps are done and the test ride is done. The destroyed bearing was my mystery sound so that is gone. Rebuilding drums is not horrible but not exactly something I would volunteer to do again next weekend. I also installed the ToyTec rear bump stop extensions while I had everything open. Now where are those Kings?

Looks like all the parts are together for the Midland install.

Just saw this. Saving for a possible future purchase.

Probably one of the best upgrades for the money in a long long time. Midland runs specials and sales sometimes but the OVERLANDUSA discount for 20% is about the best I have found outside of fire sales.

Probably because driver/passenger can change depending on country. Same shocks for Australian models.

They are sexy though.

It is pretty nice - even the bottom eyelet has movement and rotation. These things should be sweet.

I hope you like them and their quality. Ive been impressed with my first set and how long they lasted. Second set I got has similar good fit and finish.

Keep an eye on those heims. They are the only issue Ive ever had with my Kings and I know a few people that have had those same issues with the heims.

Good news is they are fully replaceable. Bad news is when they go bad they start eating away at the bolt and that's why I recommend sporadic spot checks.

Did yours come with boots to cover the heims up? I bought some with my new shocks but I'm on the fence regarding installing them. They could keep mud and water out - they could also trap it in.
