Well pick a date and lets see what we can make happen. I'll offer the space... Its a relative central location.

I have heard a lot of horror stories around the belt change. My biggest issue is down time. I do not have enough available time to have unplanned down time. Any experienced help is more than welcome and I am willing to drive for it. Beer and food will be provided for work.

The only way we will end up over 12 hours of down time is not having the right parts. We all know you have a motorcycle, quit being a pussy lol

Seriously though, it's not as bad as people make it out to be. It's an 8 hour job, 12 knowing that we will be drinking.

I will pack an over night bag and just use my RTT in Sean's garage. We all know he has plenty of room in there for it.

Which reminds me I need to get it inspected and new tags for it.

Which reminds me...damn I should have gotten this fixed 11 months ago

I had one state trooper remind me twice in one week. He said I would not get another reminder.

I will show up for beer

Wrenching = beer and these are not the Weatherford Shop rate. lol

I don't go anywhere in or on anything that's not legal, so pretty much my bike hasn't left the driveway in awhile.

@yotarob did mine as well... although I think there must be something he does because I can't remember shit about it either! Maybe he's really a MIB agent?!

I finally have enough progress on the roof rack build that it is starting to resemble a roof rack. I still need to figure out how I am shaping the front and rear dimple plates. Then I need to measure for the wind deflector.

Don't feel bad. The last two times that happened to me I was driving the cars that were not current and only found out when I had to show a gun store my current registration for my CA gun jail/Federal DROS. lol Once on the big car and once on the truck! lol

Finally enough progress that the roof rack is bolted to the 4Runner. I made a trip into town and there was no wind noise up to 70 mph. So far I am happy with the build. There are a few booger welds but it is only on cosmetic pieces.

Now that the garage is finally clearing out some I opened up the CVT box. Now I REALLY want to get this thing mounted and out on the trails. My sammich maker wants this done asap.

Next time you go to Home Depot, go to the nail & screw aisle and pick you up a couple of the largest galvanized nails they make. They will be in the drawer closest to the floor. They hold up a million times better than the crappy little test stakes and hold up to repeated abuse.

Thanks for the tip. When I was in BBRSP the ground was solid rock so we just tied off to rocks.

Damn O'Reilly's alternator went out on the way home this morning. So I swapped it out with a warranty swapped alt. I had planned to upgrade it this summer but at least this was a warranty swap.
