While my garage is a nice size.. I fucked up and did not put 8' doors to get into the bitch. Lesson # 84 on building a new house.. put the tallest garage doors you can in when its built. I could probably build 5 more houses with unlimited budgets and still find something I should have done different.

One I thought was pretty neat to a glass geek like me: The glass for George Washington's field tent display at the Revolutionary war Museum in Philly would be impossible to get into the space after construction so we brought the glass over from Europe, opened up all the crates to inspect it, craned it into the middle of the site, then parked if for a year while construction completed.

Reminds me of a guy I went to High School with.. he races Monster Trucks (owns Raminator).. anyhow his brother is his crewchief and he built a house at the base of a hill near my other friends parents house. He wanted a monster truck tire in his basement. So during construction so he put one in there before the floors or walls had been put in. So now the only way to get it out is with a saw-z-all. LOL
