The wind was between 5 to 10 mph up here and all the shooting lanes were in the trees. It was a decent morning to shoot.
Little more info: I really enjoyed shooting the o/u and my sammich maker really liked the simplicity. The other couple we were shooting with both had semi autos and both had ammo/cycling issues to deal with today. My sammich maker commented on the way home that she really appreciated the simplicity of the o/u today. She has already asked when we are shooting again. Thankfully there is a place we can shoot during the week not far from work.

There are very few .45s that are Kimmie legal and consealable. That's the only reason I'd even consider one.
The ones I saw online were $700.
Springfield released a new concealed carry pistol with a hammer. Dumb.

I did not see the hammer making a big come back in non-1911 pistols. I have no complaints other than the trigger with my XDm.

One of the best triggers I've ever pulled.I LOVE my XDM. But the "grip zone" thing and the absolute garbage AR they released with the non free float barrel, the plastic handguard that melts, etc... makes me wonder if Springfield is heading in the right direction or just years behind everyone else...

Yeah I have no regrets buying it. It can be a mother to install but it's worth it.

I love the grip zone on my mod2. Wish they hadn't actually written the words on it but it's not a deal breaker for me. Feels great though! Lots of traction.
