In talking to the guy at work who has had 3 boys go through the program they don't really even mess with the BB guns. Travis county does BB guns and WilCo does .22. So "IF" I have to put her in Travis county for a brief period in order to get her to transfer I'll just buy her the cheap Daisy Match grade Avanti 499, it is what they recommend. They are both single barrel.. just one is a lot longer than the other. My buddy has the shorter version, he has had it for about 3 years. He is in same boat as me in that he has never shot it... much like me and my 870. LOL

Found out last weekend that the white clay slingshot ammo on Amazon is pretty much unbreakable. I figured I was going to get a bag of white powder due to breakage and to my surprise not one was broken. Almost point blank shots into a flywheel and they would just ricochet off. Ok for practice, but not enough mass behind them for any sort of hunting.
Found a 9" CMMG 22LR barrel and bolt on sale for a $100 off and free shipping so I picked that up. Also bought a cheap stripped AR upper that I'll finish building with parts I have left over from other builds. I'm worried about the upper fitment (too much wobble or barrel slop). Hopefully it's good or I'll be sending it back and picking up another V Seven Weapons Systems upper (I have a bad addiction to their parts now).

Shot an AR-9 pistol recently. Now I want one....
Had a 4" barrel and 6" handguard. Was putting a silver dollar sized grouping at 13.5 yards with a red dot and 33rd mag.

If you thought that was fun, you need to pick up a CMMG .22LR AR bolt for your AR (if you have one). I love shooting .22 out of an AR more than I do Ruger 10/22's.
Yeah I'll own a couple one day. I really want a JP Enterprises pistol carbine. I got to hold a couple at the NRA show and they were awesome!
We need to setup a range day next time I am in the area.
