This. Some guys sent their suppressors into AAC for repairs and basically got told "sorry, we have no money to fix them".
My Remington 700 still had the old J lock. I had planned to replace it for years but never got around to it until an email from Pacific Tool and Gauge on Black Friday. So I ordered the aluminum shroud with firing pin to get rid of the J lock and drop 2 ounces of weight in the action. The trigger break is much cleaner now as well so it was a $50 bill well spent. The rig is currently weighing in at 11 lbs 4 ounces with an end goal ~10 lbs for the 300 Win Mag. At some point in mid 2021 the barrel profile will get reduced from 1.20" to 0.90" or 0.80" to get down to a standard bull barrel.
I picked up a Wolfman Wipe endcap for my Sandman suppressor. I have been waiting for awhile for these to come to market. I've been waiting so long that I had completely forgotten about it until someone posted a link on a forum. The wipe didn't make the suppressor quieter but it did hide all the flash. So this will be my new HD setup on my 300BO upper.

Added some capacity to my XD with a 4 round magazine extender. So now the 16 round mag is a 20. Not bad for a $20 investment.

That is a whole lot more advanced than the way we practiced shooting moving targets. We had a couple guys in the target pit that would put up an IDPA target on a stick and walk from one end to the other. If he felt impact he would "drop" . We started with one and moved up to three in a 1 minute window.

Ill never forget the story my mom told me of her being a new mom just widowed while still in the hospital from giving birth to my sister. My sisters dad died in a construction accident when she was a few days old.
My mom makes it home after 2 weeks in the hospital to their house thats set back in the woods on a dirt road with no neighbors within screaming distance to find the house burglarized.
Local leos are called to document the robbery. They take my mom in under their wings, help her buy a S&W .38 special, teach her how to use it/defend herself then keep an eye on her.
Boy how NJ's gubment has changed.... From empowering women in the 60's to letting them die in the streets in the 2000's.
These days I lose women I know who tried to get a CCW because of an abusive ex husband she had numerous documented assaults from. Dude even threatened her in court in front of the judge.
She was denied and then he killed her in her driveway while she was 10'-15' from the inside of her house & pistol. Her parents/brother have been suing NJ for years
Fucking crazy. Wish she would've just carried the pistol anyway.
It's also crazy how "pro-gun" the media used to be as well. They have turned 180° on gun rights and issues.
