Bingo. Or I can setup the 10-22 for her. Trigger pull is 2.5lbs.

I will ask my brother what rifle the kids use, he bought like 4 of them, $700 or $800 range, bolt actions

Well I “think” she can only shoot .22 for now. She will move into 28 gauge and further as she goes.

I read a really good post on a gun forum the other day. We should start mixing up the abbreviations of NRA with NFA and get all these gun haters to start chanting "Repeal the NFA!" instead of NRA lol

I was just thinking the other day how easy it would be to convince people with trump derangement syndrome into saying and doing anything if you could spin it in such a way that it's anti trump

We could have them in the streets marching for tax cuts if we could convince them it would piss trump off because "he would have less money to spend"

Shot a 1911 in .45 camping a few weeks ago. Been a while since I shot one. Also plinked with my .38 snubby and .40 XDSA. pretty sure my .38 revolver had more kick than the semi .45.

Think it's been over a year since I shot a rifle. I need to do something about that.

Got to hold my suppressors yesterday. Also submitted my SBR paperwork as well. It was all really easy with the SilencerShop Kiosk/app. The wait time begins!
The Dead Air locking system is so nice. Love it already! Can't wait to beat the hell outta these guys. :)
DeadAir Sandman S on my .223 upper.

Dead Air Mask .22LR suppressor. This guy was a little heavier than I expected but it feels like it can take a beating or survive some hard use. I blacked out the serial # as well.

Sweet looking Gill net weights.

Mike, what is your experience or knowledge, thoughts with a 30cal in small frame?
The fishing purpose objectives; up to 300yds or less with can and standard and sub loads for deer/hogs/varmints

Adams Arms Small Frame .308 - Alpha-S Rifle

I like ideal everything is interchangeable with standard AR parts except the lower.

I'm not a fan of .308 in particular. It's just a inefficient round in terms of ballistics. For example, at a 1000yds with my 6.5 Creedmoor, I'm holding ~8mils of elevation and a couple of mils for wind (wind always varies), whereas with a .308, you're holding at least double that for both elevation & wind. There are just a lot better rounds out there with less recoil and better ballistics. If you're looking to hunt at less than 300 yards, take a look at 25-.06. It's a low recoiling rifle and it's within an inch of POA up to 400 yards. From a 100-400 yards, just put the reticle on the animal and pull the trigger. It's a laser beam of a round and does some damage. My buddy and his parents all use 25-.06 to hunt with every year and they've never had to track a deer further than a 100 yards.

Or since you have some quiet fishing weights already, you can look at 300 Black Out as well (although I wouldn't shoot it past 200 yards to kill something. But damn if it isn't Hollywood quiet).

So to answer your question, this is a Piston Driven AR so it's going to have a different recoil impulse than what you're used to with your Direct Impingement AR's. It's also going to be a little heavier as well due to the weight of the piston. Adams Arms makes some good stuff but I'm not a Piston systems fan. Also the rail on this one kinda sucks (I've standardized all my AR's over to MLOK so all my stuff is compatible across my uppers).

I built a super nice Large frame AR on Google Sheets and it came out to $2,300 so this Adams Arms isn't really that great of a deal. The one I built has a better trigger, better charging handle and a silent capture spring for a suppressor (no twang).

So in summary, this is a nice rifle but there are better options out there for your money.

Take a look at the JP Enterprises rifles. They are the Ferrari of the AR world. For a few hundred bucks more, you have a guaranteed 1/2 MOA rifle that feels like it rides on ball bearings. It will also be the rifle that your boys will fight over when you die too lol

Picked up a "blemished" 22LR scope from Primary Arms. That little speck is the only blemish I could find which saved me a $100.

Also installed my V Seven weapons Ultra Light Forward Assist. Once again, it's way lighter than the Mil Spec part. Is this necessary? Nope! But might as well bling out my DPMS upper lol

Do it! V Seven makes some flawless stuff. Probably my favorite AR maker under JP Enterprises.

Only reason I'm keeping my DPMS upper is that it's matched/fitted to my DPMS lower so I don't want to sell it. Otherwise it'd be gone as I hate the bolt assist and the large shell deflectors that come on uppers.

I love the fact that the V Seven uppers come without a bolt assist and only have a small shell deflector that doesn't snag on anything.
