Think I'm gonna take advantage of TSC's black Friday sale and pick this up.

Cannon TS5934 45-Minute Fire Rated 40 Gun Safe at Tractor Supply Co.

They have an 80 gun on sale as well that I thought about but theres no way to get it where I want it short of cutting a hole in the side of my house. So the 40 gun will have to do (and realistically is already way more safe than I need right now).

I do need to buy a new charging handle though, Santa is bringing me an Aero Precision 10.5" upper with their Atlas S-One handguard in 5.56. Already have a SB Tactical SBA-3 pistol brace on hand. Today I went to my LGS and ordered a matching lower for it. Just need to order a trigger (need to check BF ads.. might get lucky) and some other misc stuff for it.

LGS called this afternoon... stripped lower is already there!! WOW. Guess I'll pick that up tomorrow and pick up a lower build kit (just the pins and shit.. trigger is on order)

Was going through some stuff at my parents house last night and found a stripped lower I forgot I had. Now I have to decide what direction I want to go with it.

Sanded down my Glock magwell a little bit and the sides of my mag release a little bit. Also lubed both of them up so now magazines slide out nice and smooth. I really wish Glock had a magazine ejection assist like every other modern pistol...

Ordered an ebay blast deflector for the 458 SOCOM build tonight. Considering the whole thing has been free/budget it fits the build nicely. Hopefully I can get some ammo in hand before it gets here next week.

Picked it up this morning and my dad helped me get it moved back into the man cave. Got it back in the hole and loaded it down with guns and ammo. Going to look good when I get my buck and aoudad mounted up above it. Have a battery powered motion sensitive light coming tomorrow for the interior as well as a dessicant dehumidifier. It should be fine seeing as how I put it in the house but for $17 I'd rather be safe than sorry. Love the door panel storage for pistols and my AR. Fixes the problem I've always had of the AR being to short to stand up in the safe.

Anyone know where I can have a new buttsrock made? I have my great grandpa's old J Steven's single shot .410 that the butt stock is all busted up on. I'd like to have a new one made for it. I know the gun isnt worth much at all and still wont be after I have a new stock put on but it's more about the sentimental value. This was the first gun I ever shot and it's been in the family since new almost 100 years ago. I'd love to be able to shoot it again rather than just have it sitting in the safe or hanging on the wall. Willing to travel a bit to have it done. Just looking for recommendations.

If time is not of the essence I know a guy that does really good wood work for rifles as a hobby. He has a "stock copier" setup where he can cut a new copy of the old one.
