Muzzle brake is typically better than a flash hider for precision rifles. Helps you stay on target and tame recoil. Also, if you are gonna run a suppressor in the future, you should run a muzzle brake since it'll act as a much better "sacrificial baffle" than a flash hider will.
These articles are a bit dated but it'll help steer you on the right track.

I mainly got it just to put something on there for now. It was just a thread protector beforehand.

Blackpowder?

compressed air. Air guns are by definition not firearms thus NJ can't ban sh*t on them. It is semi auto though. Hopper holds 200 rounds lol

That better only have a 5-shot magazine per your new laws...
Was going to bring that up. WTF New Criminals Jersey?

10 shot is the law thank god. if it were 7 like NY I'd be an overnight felon. I saw that writing on the walls years ago when they tried to do it so since then I never bought anything that holds more than 10 rounds (why I got the XDSA in .40 the first year they came out). Even before the ban I couldn't get the new XDM due to capacity issues. Basically anyone in NJ with a doyuble stacked 9mm became an overnight felon. While .40 is not my fav it was a compromise I was willing to make and at the time LEO's were using it and I was in college for criminal justice (anticipated becoming a LEO and my range instructor/professor recommended .40).

It is not a war crime the first time.

I keep telling my relatives in NY that want me to come up there that I cannot because my carry pistol is illegal. They say to just leave it at home and the conversation goes quiet after that.

My friends just drive into Jersey w/their carry weapons all the time. I tell them they are absolutely crazy, but to each their own. I'd fear for my life much more sitting in jail for the next 5 years if a LEO finds it.

I just had a guy refuse to be on the Liberty Bell job because he refuses to give up his carry and doesn't want to be searched every day coming and going from the job site. He can sit at home while everyone else works. Again - to each their own. I don't hold anything against him, but I wish he was on the job because he's a good worker.

Only a matter of time now...

I wouldn't put it past them. Not like the paintball industry is so large or has so much support they have lobbyists looking out for their interest. Talking to my local buddy's last night and they are all fubar w/new mag rules. None of them got rid of them prior to the law being enacted so now they are screwed.

if I ever won the lottery this is the only suppressor I'd ever be able to buy in this state... becuase as of now "it's not a gun - so it's not a suppressor" . That said having a slingshot is still a felony
