It felt horrible leaving after a single beer though. My buddy that was with me that day did ask me on the way home how I manage to survive when everyplace I stop I drink .

Best looking used Fox shocks I have ever seen. Every set I see up here looks like it's 200 years old they are so rusty.

How did you manage to never destroy those lower shock mounts? Seems like they'd be a common issue for most people hanging down like that.

He def has a new bolt/washer on there though so I'd suspect past issues.

Not a new bolt/washer... if by new you mean like 6 years. LOL

Edit... actually I did replace that bolt/nut... but it really was about 2 years ago when I installed the 8.4 rear end in it.. lost one of the factory bolts for the lower shock mount.

I need to hit the underside with the pressure washer again this afternoon. I want those UCA's and LCA's spotless when I install the new shit.

a: bracket to hold the remote resi doesnt' want to play nice with the BruteForce Fab bumper gussets.... answer.. cut them.. downside.. one of the sway bar bolt holes (not used in 6 years) is fucked beyond repair without a tap... tried to make a tap but its not working. So I mounted it with one and I'll buy a tap. (fine thread... oh and by the way the bolts the dealer sold me are WAY too small.. not even close.. maybe for a Tercel)
#5 Passenger side Total Chaos LCA does NOT want to accept the King lower shock mount... too wide! Tried to use a cresent wrench to widen it.. no love.

#7 Lets say the LCA allows the shock to slid in like a nice whore would.. the shock body hits the RCV rubber boot
a: Proposed solution is to slide the rubber boot back an inch or so and put a new clamp on it.. "should" clear.

Did your front shocks come with an aluminum spacer to offset them from touching the rubber boot? My Icons come with them.

No.. they take up the whole width of the lower mounting tab.
