Looks good, what are those two large 6x6s? in the ground for?
hammock posts for that "V" tree. I'm working on a design in my head to add some kind of birdhouse to the top but that will be a rainy day project. Going to try and get trail cams, motion lights, and bird house all in one indiscreet package
Got 5 truck beds of limbs hauled out of the backyard to my parents place and put in their bonfire pile. Now I just need to get the reat of these smaller pieces burned in our fire pit. Gonnna start working on that once the wind dies down. Gotta get the shed torn down this week as well and get it haules off as well as the old section of deck and start clearing out the area for the new shed.
Spent this morning playing w/trees, but I hired out help cause I ain't getting on a lift w/a chainsaw.
cleared out the back property line where the neighbors tree was blocking light to my shed and creating moss/mold. Also created a tree rat super highway so they could eat nutz on my shed roof, but not anymore.
side yard tree that dented my Subaru 5 years ago....we were going to cut them to the branch's trunk/branch line a few inches from the main tree so they could heal good, but that would of been us cutting over my property line and once my buddy got into the lift and up there he said the tree was doing real bad so we just cut to the property line. Last thing I need is some BS that we killed the tree since it's already in need of major help. My buddy offered my neighbor a discount last week since the lift and guys would be here but as usual he has no $$ for any sort of preventative maintenance. Guess he would rather have a tree go through his house one day
left side cut back all the neighbors overhanging branches that would eventually take down my fence
last but not least my dead "tree" thats really a fast growing weed that died after 5+/- years of quick growth
only broke one fence picket dropping branches and everyone got done w/o injury so pretty great day even with rain hampering us
calling the township to see if they will send out a chipper and if not my buddy will come back with his trailer and grab it all. Pretty sure they will tell me to go pound sand but it doesn't hurt to check first. If you take them to the municipal ctr they will take the load for free so we shall see.... it's like a 10' tall pile thats 20 yards long
