There is a small time drug pusher that got busted through Google Maps in my town. According to the court docs one of his customers tagged his place of business on Google Maps and left a review. Apparently the person thought only their friends could see it. The rest was just funny as a someone in the DPS office saw the business name as it was a few blocks away from a house a family member was buying (or something like that). Apparently there was already suspicion of the residence and the Google tag/ review helped seal the deal for further investigation.

It's def nice view, much better than most of my surrounding town which is just neighbors too damn close to your house lol Hopefully this stays as farm land as long as I'm here. Once in a while, thanksgiving dinner even comes around to eat some bugs :)

Asking for a friend, how good are the water bongs and pipes at the Black Pipe Fabrication?

Yeah my mom used have river rock beds around her house. I was so happy when she wanted to take them out as they are freaking scary when you run over them with a mower! lol Sounds like a gun shot at first

Mine all have 4x4 borders so that's not really an issue. Just potato to put wood in the ground in this region. Lucky to get 15 years out of it. Most of mine are fubar now. Gotta replace the whole N side - working on that bed now. Should of gotten some cor10 sheared to 4-6" x 120", drilled holes and bolted it together. Would of lasted 30 years+

Busy day around my house, got a nice workout in. Trimmed up all the shrubs and then power washed the entire house. Nice to work from home to be able to squeeze these tasks in between my job lol

this side of the house doesn’t get much sun so it gets some of that “mold” crap growing on it after a year. The 8’ wand is a game changer, borrowed it from my dad. What used to be an acrobatic act is now just a few steps up a ladder to get to the peaks of the gable end. One benefit of living in a rancher lol. The ladders were not needed for the rest of the house, and even got a nice cleansing of the outside of the gutters. That wand probably cut my power washing time in half

next up is ordering some mulch and maybe plant a few flowers. Then it’s on to enjoy the spring, I hate yard work lol
Cant beat a good day pressure washing. Yesterday was perfect for it. I was sweating my ass off shoveling rocks and planting

I got a ton of extra sea grass if you want it. Offering it to anyone who comes to get it free. I'd hate to trash it. Grows sun or shade. Up to 6' wide and 7' tall max. Most of my old ones are about 4' wide x 6' tall. Plop it in dirt and it grows. Only care needed is to buzz it early winter with a hedge clipper. Perfect summer privacy, but none in winter. Stuffs perfect for under windows cause its razor sharp and will cut bare skin as you can see lol

This is me being careful and barely rubbing against it once. Don't mind the poison ivy lol

1/3 done the final run of beds. Kinda backasswards but I'm not moving the rocks twice. From here on out I'm good to replace the fence first then fix the beds.

also time to turn the corner on the shed and say goodbye to my motorcycle parking spot that hasn't been used in over a decade

I guess this is an “improvement”? TSC offers a discount for bulk purchase of solar salt so I got 30 bags, 20 for me and 10 for a buddy. 1200 lbs the ferd hardly noticed, and old blue got some fresh sunlight. Moved from the truck, into garage, to the basement. Man I wish my house had Bilco doors, oh well good thing I don’t store too much shit in my basement anyhow.

And yes I know my Fturd50 hood is full of rock chips before any of ya'll say something lol. It was like that when I bought it, then plan is to ditch the OEM hood and go with a Cervini fiberglass hood and get the whole cab repainted, but that's probably next year's budget or at least later this year. Since it stays inside the pole barn and I don't drive it in the rain, additional rusting is not a concern. Benefit is Cervinis is 10 minute down the road from my house so I'll have them tackle the whole project :)

Yeah, a work truck with a couple chips in the paint or windshield is pretty common around here. Not even noticeable.

Filled up a 20 yard dumpster in 6 hours. I am beat. Got most of the upstairs demoed out and about a 1/3rd of the downstairs.

We are going to make the downstairs space "uninhabitable" (i.e. no insulation or A/C) so we can cut our taxes and insurance in half by making the upstairs well above the flood zone.

I can almost see the light regarding landscaping. Few more days then I should be done. Threw away a ton of good plants today. Stinks no one I know has a green thumb. Everyone's too busy sucking ac indoors glued to a screen letting actual life pass by

Going to start after my neihbor unstacks all his shit on his side. Got leaves and trash 2' up in some sections. He's the reason it rotted. Leaves + trash blown over the decades. His ground is 6" taller on his side from neglect. Was level when I first put it up. We spoke yesterday. Town leaf clean up is 16th. Told him I'd lend a hand. One day me cleaning for one day his son helping w fence.
