Nice! How close are they letting you get before you drop the hammer on them?

Because they're usually super skittish, I park at the ranch house though and walk stealthily for about a half mile with all my gear on my back before I get to the first feeder. After dark it's easier to get close. I could see through the scope that they were all looking at me, but weren't concerned enough to run away.

Nice indeed now if I could just catch the hogs tearing up my parents place, they're smart enough to avoid traps and never seem to come around when I'm there

That sucks, I hunt on family land and the rule thumb is only birds dove and ducks is open to guest.
No big game can be hunted by anyone else because when someone gets that one freak picture on the trail cam with the 18pt Buck(exaggerated of coarse) they think their name is on it, Lord only knows what would happen if you shot a buck and you didn't read the name tag on him
, you might not look as good up on the wall.

Damn that sucks man. I'll see if I can work something out for you schedule wise to come down and get stuff.
I was in the process of loading up gear and finishing up for the night when this big boy walked out at about 9:30p. I shot him in the neck and he charged the blind, but didn't make it all the way up before he dropped from shot #2 to the head. I should have set something on him for perspective, but he was 200+lbs. Biggest one I've shot to date
I would have taken the head, but I forgot my machete
