the front shoulder is great in the crock pot. Sprinkle in a pack of McCormick Carnitas seasoning, onion, and pepper. high for 4-5 hours and then low for 4-5. Depending on size I have done 7 hours on high and turned out tender and fall off the bone.

That sounds tasty. I don’t usually cut more than just the backstraps out of the hogs

The fronts are super easy to take off. We can get back straps and 1 front shoulder off in about 3 min.

You should. Best part about pig hunting is no license required so no out of state tags to buy.
I bet my friend has shot 50-60 since March at his place and he is about to ramp up his efforts with traps.

And the deer do not like to be around hogs, they leave the feeders every time a hog/hogs comes in

I disc’d up about 1/3 acre this year behind the shop in the last week of October, I was going to put in another food plot, but it has been stupid dry here, so I didn’t bother wasting money on that seed. I just seeded it with rye grass, we had almost 4” of rain a bit over a week ago, and the last 3 days that seed is just now germinating fast, and the fawns have been loving it and every day since. Our fawns are twice the size of the fawns outside of my property, they we’re getting corn 3 x day, now it’s 2 x day and they still refuse to jump the fence, but I have seen other fawns much smaller jump over to come eat.

We need more rain, especially since News Years /Fireworks are only about a week out.

Sounds like a killing weekend could be setup.

Not at grandpa's ranch. I've seen several trail cam pics with pigs and deer eating side by side....

I have too, but typically the deer wonder off when they arrive, noisy bastards

yup it happens, tree rat spins plate, deer come to feeder within 5mins, and tree rat takes dirt nap, and the deer just continue eating corn. :D

I dont have any more around my house even if I wanted to play yahtzee with them. After a few months of war and 70-80 rats exterminated I have only seen 3 in the last 2 weeks and 1 was in my neighbors yard.
