I know why. It was all an act. He repeals it and within days the new demtard of a mayor gets all the media hype associated with bringing it back.
In reality he did it because he was trying to show he was tough on illegals when he was once considered for a top spot within Homeland Security.

As a believer in less gov is better and the less they interfere with me the better, I have zero issues with convicted nonviolent felons who are citizens and have served their time then became good citizens voting. I do not agree with letting criminals who haven't served their time voting. Once you're off parole and have served your time I can't think of any reason the judicial system needs to keep striping your rights away.

I see some caveats there.
On a higher note, my 270th day I have received conditional approval. Now to take another course. Good thing, all of this stuff is tax deductible. Bad part is it won't matter this year for I have far more losses than gains. I liked the 80s so much more.
