Philly is union strong...like one of the strongest unions in the country. While I'm opposed to a good deal of what they do, they fight for US jobs like no other. I was amazed to see entire buildings being bought and installed in Philly by the Chineese. They actually imported the freaking workers and the entire building. My jaw dropped when I saw that. I'm pulling a 180 on this now that I've had time to read the facts and actually think about it. Is she a horrible person...YES. Morally should she have tried to stop him/not persuade him...YES. Do I think that ruling can have detrimental effects on society going forward...YES! I think I'm with Jason (when he originally posted) that if she is considered guilty of murder, having not even been present at his death, this sets a dangerous precedent. So while I think it is morally wrong to persuade, coax, or watch someone die or not render aid to someone who is dying. I don't think you can LEGALLY hold them accountable, it just opens up too many possibilities of abuse in the future. I was wrong.

I get what you're trying to say, but she wasn't convicted of murder. She got convicted for involuntary manslaughter. Seems fitting to me especially when they are simply defined as per below:
