This kind of a split is not horrible. The majority of the population is between San Diego and San Francisco. Any split that separates the conservative areas from the liberal areas would be extremely off balance as far as population and financial stability. They would have wealthy state and then one poor state.

In reality someone just made our company tens of thousands of dollars. Some of the glass is in unitized curtain wall on the mechanical floor. Gotta take out two floors worth of exterior to access it. Dumb design if you need to change glass out, but they saved 10-20% in initial construction cost so not a big deal to them in the end so long as the shooter doesn't keep shooting

Cali is who sets the emission standards for the whole country. Cali wanted stricter emissions, and the EPA lets them set their own. Automakers aren't going to create an engine special just for Cali so we all get stuck with it. Cali could decide that all new vehicles must run on renewable vegan farts by 2025 and the rest of the country is forced to follow

I believe you live in one of these 9 counties in the DFW area; Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Tarrant, and Wise Counties which are all in a nonattainment status per EPA.

Which means (the area you live in) air quality sucks because of excess Ozone, Lead, Carbon Monoxide, Nitrogen Dioxide, Particulate Matter, Sulfur Dioxide.

I don't what the happy median is with all the various regulations and laws, but breathing clean air could be a factor, I'm just glad, I don't live in China...because up to a few years ago, they had zero air emission standards.

Would be nice. I'd like to see some new duel sports in the mix and as of right now that's the #1 reason all our offerings are so old. Any major revamp would require Cali emissions be met.

Cali is also the reason small bikes were banned for children due to their lead content. Freaking bike is full of flammable fluids and those morons are worried about lead poisoning. Last I saw a kid on a dirt bike would ride it not lick the engine block....but for those with special kids I guess everyone else should suffer.
