I saw these "super cut off wheels" at Lowes and figured that one was worth a shot since I had a lot of small cuts to be made soon. This morning I used it to cut some grade 5 bolts at a 30 degree angle. It did cut the bolts but I was not in awe at the speed. So I put a regular DeWalt cut off disc on grinder and tried it on the same bolts. The standard wheel worked like a charm. So the super duper wheel might get another chance on some softer metal but it has been a joke so far.

Funny but I have had similar experience. You would think diamond would be specifically for hard materials. Must be Chinese diamonds.

I had a feeling with the brand name and design that it would be a good blade. It might be awesome for softer metals. I will have to make some cuts to see how well it does.

Or maybe it needs to be cooled with water. :)

Man im surprised that did anything with that in an angle grinder, you typically only see that style blade in a low rpm lubricated saw. Also looks like it would be lots of fun when you hang it in a bind, cut off wheel would just break that things gonna go flying

I've had similar experiences with Lenox Sawzall blades and rebar. Total junk and the teeth melted away in a few cuts. Switched back to normal de-walt cheapo blades and right through like butter.

We my neighbor and I did the ol' cab clip swap on his kids truck he bought these cheap as fuck grinder disks from Amazon (like 50 for $25 or something). Anyhow, those fucking things ATE!! Damn... they plowed through steel.. he bought 150 of them. We "way" have broken one. The others worn down to the steel ring. Downside... they would wear down to that steel ring in about 2' of cutting. LOL But damn they worked great aside from that. I think these are the ones... but he bought them in a 50 pack which it looks like they don't sell any more.

T post driver...although it's pretty easy here because of my sandy soil.

^My old hound named Buck is buried underneath these trees, and a white tale buck decided to mark his territory on my trees.

I planted a total of six evergreen live oak trees last March, Quercus virginiana, because nearly all my trees are deciduous.

I like to have some green during our 2 day season of a "Canada" winter and that includes the winter rye in the main yard vs the dried out native grasses in the background.

That t post driver made my shoulders sore just looking at it. I grew up over rock and there was no such thing as an easy t post to set.

No shit. Not to mention my dad and grandpa never saw a reason to buy a t-post driver when there was plenty of scrap laying around to build one. So ours were always homemade and weighed 3x as much as a normal one.

I need a new vise. Anyone recommend a good one? Ive been looking for an older Wilton bullet but damn people are proud of them. I like to beat on mine, so it needs to be stout. My last Lowes/HD cheapo didnt make it a couple years.
