Right now the best deals Ive seen have them giving away either the (2) 4.0 + a basic charger for free, a 6.0 or 8.0 battery for free, or a free tool when you buy (2) 4.0's and a charger (same as first deal just backasswards). I saw HD offering some of the best deals for their lower tier non Fuel/Surge type tools. Get a free 8.0 with their single head LED tower light etc. Problem with the big box stores is some of their bare tool prices are inflated to push you to buy kits. I have not found that to be the case with other places like fleebay/maxtool/tool.com/similar. HD did have the router kit deal I wanted but I waited too long for the price to drop and they are out of stock now. I ended up finding the same deal on fleebay today and jumped on it because they only listed 3 being in stock.

The saw kit I ordered came with a HO HD12.0 & a new style HO XC6.0 + their newer rapid charger (the 6 was "free") so we shall see how the newer battery tech is. Right now I only have (2) of the older style XC5.0's

The High Output batteries are really nice but cost a bit extra. I am looking to pick up one or two more to go with my HA 6.0

12.0 and 6.0 showed up yesterday w/the saw and my lasers. Took the rapid charger 56 minutes to take the 6 from 1 bar to fully charged. 104 minutes for the 12.0 to do the same.

Holy moly are they large. I was hoping the 6 wasn't much bigger than the 5 but it is and the 12 is just a monster

between the 12 and the "worm" saw I need to hit the gym and take a few cycles of steroids....freaking heavy.

Not pleased that everything I got from Milwaukee yesterday was made in China ~ With their price points they could do better.

My Stabila laser was made in China but at least the Laser measurer from them wasn't.

I had a new guy start last week so I ordered some new tools for him. Going with a Stabila laser and levels. If they work out, then I'll switch all of my guys out to Stabila tools over time.

good luck man! I think I bought about 4-5 of the LAX 300G's and no issues from any of them prior to me leaving work.

we did have a guy bend one of their levels but that was a total moron - they are beefy. not sure if Stabila warranty'd it or not cause I left.

With all respect, these are tools for the land, not suitable for those who have no need with city boy hands.

Only one of those tools that do not own is a wire stretcher.

Growing up we had a modified crowbar we used as a wire stretcher. The legit wire stretchers were for rich folk or city people who bought a little land they called a ranch.

The tools and implements were my wife’s grandfathers tools from thier ranch, I’m honored to receive any tool that I can potentially use.

unloaded the blade, phd and head gate yesterday and installed the phd on the back of the tractor.

and this is why I started checking everything I buy as soon as it shows up. Used to just buy stuff and assume it was good to go, but got burnt a few times with either hardware missing or defective product......I can't remember ever getting a used tool before so here's to 2020 breaking firsts lol

that is pretty fucked though. I have bought a couple tools from CPO Bosch as recertified. Damn things look just like new, only way you can tell is they have a stamp "melted" into them which reads "Recert" or something similar.
