What have you done to your ride lately?

Finished the maintenance on the tow pig, she's now fully up to snuff for a while I hope lol Did the front/rear diffs and trans and t-case, got a new gucci diff cover while I was at it. Goddamn redline oil is expensive. Let's hope the ZF6 will go for another 100k miles.

Of course when I went to remove the rear diff cover I found the previous owner only put 11 of the 12 bolts back in, hence why it was seeping oil a bit on that side. I guess he was too lazy to fix it so I spent 10 minutes drilling it out and extracting it with the eastwood screw extractor kit. This is the best extractor kit I've found to date.

The diff cover has a 1/8" NPT tap at the top for a temperature probe, I may hook that up in the future to monitor the rear diff oil temps but being an aluminum cover and holding +2 quarts over stock I don't think I'll have any issues :)

Finally had someone look at my AC. Passenger side blows cold as ice and driver side only blows a few degrees colder than the ambient temperature. Hooked my gauges up to it and it read fine so I assumed it was a blend door. Took it to have it looked at and see if they could tell me which one was getting stuck or not working. Turns out my gauges are fucked. It was 1/2 lb low on freon. I told them to evac the system and recharge it. Once I find the leak I'll worry about getting it fixed right. This should get me through the rest of the summer though.

Got the AC fixed, oil changed and tires rotated. Just need to change the cabin and engine air filters and pick up a spare tire/wheel from @tex and I'll be ready for CO this weekend. Need to do spark plugs as well but not going to get to it before the trip. It'll be on my list for when I get back.

Went cheap... ordered a new blower motor for the Taco from Rock Auto. $50 vs $110 for an OEM. Should be here tomorrow. Just too damn hot not to have high speed (well I have high speed but the fan just sounds like its going to come apart).

Going to seal them up over the weekend and hope to get a 3-4 years out of them.

Good idea... mine are still in the box collecting dust. Compared side/side with OE I think they look like they have better ungraded hardware and design. Hopefully the plastic has been upgraded as well.

Tommy want wingy..
After the dumb bitch at Vatozone gave me 5 lug rotors and another trip back over to yell at them I finished up my brake job. The Powerstop brakes and rotors had a good life of 84k. The OEM set lasted 113K. New set is the duralast premium rotors and EBC green pads. Time will tell how they fare.

Replaced a few fender clips for the flares that have been broken for a while and added some of Nathan's push on molding to the fender for my rear bumper.

Axle swap and new rotors/pads is done. I skipped the power steering hoses because they were seized and I did not want to open a bigger can of worms on top of what was already going on.
