Ceramic is the way to go. Did the past 4 new cars with it. Last 3 I also did the windshield with the clear. You can tell a diff with the windshield being done. Wife had 2 of the exact same cars, second one was even a darker color but we had the front tinted and you could tell the diff between the two. I want to do the sunroofs now. Both her XC90 and my SuperDuty have those huge ass panoramic roofs. Need to call one of those mobile tint guys and see what he would charge to do both at the same time... maybe get a discount.

I had the windshield done also. I'm trying to help protect the aging interior of that car in addition to me not getting as hot
Considering my recent upgrades/investments into my 4Runner I want to get the windows tinted in a way to compliments the rest of it. If the ceramic is the best way to go to keep it cooler than I am game.

Word on the street is that it is definetly an improvement over regular tint. It's going to be expensive on a 4R though, you've got a lot of windows

Llumar makes good stuff so it should be worth it regarding actually meetings it's specs vs some offbrands stuff thats never been industry tested like theirs. Their data is good for sure & by chance if you ever had issues it's a warranted product. Ive used them on many commercial jobs. Never really ahd any issues with the big guys like 3m, Llumar, Solargard.
Any good ceramic should outlast a good typical tint's lifespan.

Ah, yes Llumar is the name. Glad to know that I’ve bought a quality product!
Worth it though. All that glass brings in a crapload of sun and heat.

If you put a zip loc bag over it and are quick enough, you can keep all the oil in the bag
