I like those systems on BMW carsSupposedly it changes the rate at which the steering wheel turns based on speed. Slower speeds it turns quicker, higher speeds it turns slower.
New X2 Power batteries are in place. I want to thank FoMoCo for not putting any sort of handle on the OEM batteries and allowing me to finger fuck them out of the truck. What a PITA.

No battery reset required, battery light was never on. Something is still wonky though, it was fine earlier today and then it just acted up abut an hour ago when I went out again. Steering wheel is at about a 45 degree angle going straight. So while the batteries may have been an issue and needed replacement, it was not the root cause. Dropping it off at stealership tomorrow.

I'll give it a shot. I have Forscan on my laptop, videos show that it takes but a minute or two.You paid big bucks for those batteries, I would do a battery reset on the truck.
Done.. didn't fix the steering issue but the truck knows it has new batteries.
Unnecessary electronic bs you don't need?![]()
You are correct, I could sell them for 4x what I had paid nowYou should have kept all your old ferds, they didn't have all this electronic crap that these newer trucks have.

Low side service port means the valve core was leaking. Usually just needs 1/8th of a turn to get it to stop.I *think* that the air conditioning in my 4Runner is finally repaired after 2+ years of no A/C. I had it serviced last week and the shop said they found a leak in the low side service port. Several years ago, two different shops said the evaporator was the problem and in order to repair it the entire dash has to come out. That's why it never got repaired, haha. I picked it up last Friday and then left for a week of work. Just got back and the air is still ice cold. I'm going to drive it for several days to see if it stays this way and I'm sure glad I didn't spend $2500-3000 on an evaporator replacement and instead only spent $340 for this service.
Dropping off the Tundra at a shop in Fort Worth tomorrow to see if they can get the 4x4 issue resolved. It has been without 4x4 for 2+ years now as I've been going around in circles trying to fix it myself.
