Michael sent me picks of that bumper... you are right. Its like an M&M.. he was peeling away its candy coating and I swear it looked like milk chocolate. Should have just let it melt in your hand at that point and left the grinder aside.
That does suck though. Didn't you get jacked with a grinder on the leg not too long ago... or maybe a few years ago ... or was that someone else? I got a flap disk to the arm a few years ago and the scar just recently went away.
Yeah... flap disc on the leg from a Ryobi grinder with no safeties. Buys a DeWalt with safety & still cuts self... I'm FMLing

I recently watched a guy cut a slab of granite without a safety and he put a (guessing here) 6+" diamond blade on a 4.5" grinder.. no guard.. only the handle and he cut through a piece of 1.5" granite slab about 2' long in about 30 seconds. No damage.. I was uber impressed. I was double surprised the blade fit the grinder and he did it in a straight cut.. and make that triple surprised that it too so little time. That being said I still a bit careful about those things.
That sucks about the stitches. I lost a shirt and some skin last summer when my loose shirt got too close to the wire wheel on the grinder. I try not to do that anymore.
As for my rig; the transfer case is bolted back in, drive shafts are bolted in. Tonight I just have to add fluids, install the shifter, and test drive it.

Just got back from Discount Tire and finally had my TPMS issue fixed.
Backtrack: A few months ago the light came on randomly while driving. Tires were fine though so I ignored the light until the next trip to discount tire. Well the kid there hooked up the TPMS handheld sensor to the computer and could read all of my sensors. They were all working fine. So he tried to reprogram and reset the TPMS computer. After that failed, he told me the TPMS computer was probably bad and he couldn't fix it. So I just ignored it.
Fast forward to today and I went to a different discount tire and I told the kid there to ignore the light. He said "why? Let's fix this today if all of your sensors are working". Well while he was scanning my sensors into the handheld computer, I realized he didn't scan my spare tire. I got him to scan my spare tire and the he reprogrammed my TPMS computer and then light turned off.
Basically, MAKE SURE THEY SCAN YOUR SPARE TIRE.
That is all.
I wonder how many people are driving around with working sensors and computers and have this same issue?

As annoying as the sensor in the spare is.... a flat spare isn't a spare.
(booger) welded up the DMZ Fab motor mount gusset kit, after jacking up and welding the failed frame mount back into place... without going to the emergency room
Just have to put it all back together tomorrow and Friday. Not looking forward to reinstalling the diff

I took my truck to get new tires a few years back. Afterwards my TPMS light was on. I hit reset.. nothing. Hmm.. went back a day later. The manager was like "are you sure you have TPMS?" "No fucktard that light just appeared" ... not what I said but what I wanted to say... anyhow turns out that 3 of the 5 tires they changed out where missing the TPMS sensors. Seems someone failed to put them back in. Now its a day later and the TPMS monitors are"missing". Not my problem.. find... buy new ones... which they did. I should have went back right away but figured that it would reset itself in a few miles... a few miles was me at home with a cold beer and other problems.

Replaced my spark plugs at 38k, they were due. all were around 0.05 to 0.055 (spec is 0.039-0.043)
