Thanks; I managed to get a good amount done before having to come inside to get ready to go to my in-law's. Tuesday night should be the night for the passenger bend to happen. Then the rest will move along pretty quick I think until the tailgate. I already know I want to clearance for 38s while I m doing this so a lot of the blending work on the interior will be reduced.

I cut my wheelwells to clear 36's and I bet I could have cleared 38's. I basically cut out the area just to the first bend in the fender flare and then welded the inner wheel well back into the outer for support. Turned out not too bad.

Hmm. I was looking to go up right at 2" from the current lip so as to allow for full travel without rubbing. Even with my 33"s on my old leafs I rubbed some; I do not remember any rubbing on my Ford leafs. I am going to tape off a couple of ideas and see which will work/look the best for big tires.
Got the passenger side with a good start on it tonight. I tried to document this side a little better so it did slow me up some.

FIxed my winch and put my new lightbar on. Tomorrow is the oil change, diff change, new cvs in the front, and a couple welding jobs.

I don't even want to think about what kind of voodoo sheet metal magic in gonna have to come up with clearancing the back of mine after I move th or axle back 4". I'll cross that bridge when I get there.
Starting on the front this weekend sometime. Going to spend the day Friday clearing up one bay of the shop and getting the 4Runner moved in. Hopefully I can get the frame and motor blocked up, the axle and leaf springs removed, and all the propane/brake/whatever lines off the frame so I can start cutting first thing Saturday morning.
Yeah I'm reconsidering. I'm not liking how fucked up my powdercoat is.
It should be pretty straight forward; just tub that area up a few inches and then back an extra couple inches.

Yeah I just talked to this guy on the phone and he's freaking out. He doesn't realize how much work to make it to what it was.

Yeah, fuck that guy. Some college kid hit my wife on Mopac a couple years ago. Didn't hurt the car too much.. but it needed to have the rear bumper cover replaced. Anyhow, the kids dad Googles my wifes name, finds out her title and then calls her! Plays it like "hey no sense causing my sons insurance rates to go up... with your position you can afford it" kinda bullshit. She got put off and basically called him a dumbass and his kids insurance was gonna pay in so many words.
