Finished laying out the plan for wiring in my switch panel for power and ground. Each switch will still have power going off to each device as necessary. This is just a power/ ground layout to multi port blocks. Simple and clean.
As I look at the wiring diagram I think about a good friend that just had a fire in his engine compartment. He had one of those (IIRC) Columbia dual battery set ups - NO FUSABLE LINK. He toasted his engine harness. Makes me think we should ALL have fusable links or 200 amp circuit breakers or fuses right at the battery. That is unless you have good insurance.
Same here but in reverse. I should do the same for my primary battery - or at the very least ensure there is a fusable link.Totally agree. I have a 200 amp fuse at each end of the 0 gauge wire running from the front of the truck to the back of the truck for the second battery. Actually in back in a circuit breaker.

Still wish I was going west instead of east. Once we get back I am going to start planning my fall trip to someplace. Not sure yet; but I need to go somewhere. I am trying to keep it no more than 12 hours one way away.
West. I want to go West. Or back to northern Arkansas.Maybe; still trying to decide if I would rather go 12 hours east or west.

I'm planning on spending four days in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park before heading up to Windrock for the event.
My biggest issue will be available time off work for travel and what kind of condition my 4Runner is in at that time.
