Finished laying out the plan for wiring in my switch panel for power and ground. Each switch will still have power going off to each device as necessary. This is just a power/ ground layout to multi port blocks. Simple and clean.

As I look at the wiring diagram I think about a good friend that just had a fire in his engine compartment. He had one of those (IIRC) Columbia dual battery set ups - NO FUSABLE LINK. He toasted his engine harness. Makes me think we should ALL have fusable links or 200 amp circuit breakers or fuses right at the battery. That is unless you have good insurance.

Good point. I should update that layout to show that the power is coming from fuse block that has a 15 amp fuse in place. I will update it tomorrow.

Totally agree. I have a 200 amp fuse at each end of the 0 gauge wire running from the front of the truck to the back of the truck for the second battery. Actually in back in a circuit breaker.

Same here but in reverse. I should do the same for my primary battery - or at the very least ensure there is a fusable link. :)

Stuffing mine full of crap lol

Still wish I was going west instead of east. Once we get back I am going to start planning my fall trip to someplace. Not sure yet; but I need to go somewhere. I am trying to keep it no more than 12 hours one way away.

West. I want to go West. Or back to northern Arkansas.
I'm planning on spending four days in the Great Smokey Mountain National Park before heading up to Windrock for the event.

My biggest issue will be available time off work for travel and what kind of condition my 4Runner is in at that time.

I already have the vacation on the books, as I'm sponsoring the event, but work may kill my plans. I'll know on Monday if my dragline job is going to need me on site early or not. I'm going to be pissed if they want me there early.

I've been looking at Great Smokey Mountains NP for a trip soon. Wish I was going to be able to make the round up.

That looks pretty useful. Nice find.

I finished all the pre-install work on my switch bank. Depending on what I have to do tonight I should be able to have it installed and my backup lights installed tonight/tomorrow.

This morning:

2001 4Runner - oil change and air filter change
2006 Tacoma - oil change and air filter change (my wife has put a whopping 9k miles on the truck since 9/2015. I hope the Taco is liking retirement lol )

Taking a breather for lunch and then the switch panel goes in.
