I need to redo my FIL's truck, his leafs still suck after the TSB upgrade, he dosnt load much maybe 40-50 bags of corn a few times year.

The stock set you have, are those recalled/TSB?

I need to do that mod. Mine are fine but I don't get a warm fuzzy cranking them down. Its more than 3-4 turns but barely. I need to check next time I pull the tires off.

Just picked up two Toyota cv axle rebuild kits and ordered inner and outer tie rods. My price on the inner tie rods was $122 each. They are proud of them.

Finally got the chips in my 4Runner windshield fixed. You can still see them some but now they should not grow any.

If you think they backed out of the threads you can put a piece of monofilament fishing line in the threads when you screw it in. It acts as a lock nut.

Bill Burke school of shackles - keep them in your bag - not on the truck. You want to hand tighten then back off a half or quarter turn so that you can still unscrew it after a load has been put on it.

Replaced one inner tie rod. Replaced a clamp to the outboard CV. Wholesale was $7. I do love the clamp tightener I bought at Napa years ago - to tighten Toyota clamps. 7am appointment for alignment and then ginish loading and push off to Montana.
