What have you done to your ride lately?

I would rather do something on the inside. Also you know that the radius on the relief for the stock 'bed stiffeners' were changed in 2009 to help them from cracking. I personally wouldn't want to have it reduce the width of our already narrow beds.

Hmmm that has me thinking now. And I have a 2007 Tacoma so I have the bed frame that cracks. :(

This is the third time those brake calipers clips have f**cked my brakes and rotors. Replaced them with OEM rotors and EBC greenstuff pads. Glad to have my brakes back.

Do you clean and lube the pins? Put on new springs with new shim plates? If the pins build up with junk and the springs have sprung they can stop the pads from free floating easily. I sanded down and lubed my pins after noticing they do build up a ton of grit.

Rear bar is all the way up and back as i could get it for max headroom.

I hope to get the seat belt bar in tonight and maybe some additional bars.

How are you going to weld the backsides? I was just helping a friend do the same. He cut holes in the floor so that he could get to the backside. If you want it to work when needed, please don't skip that. Another option could be a hole saw through the roof but that A-pillar area looks too tight.

I plan on taking the cab off and fully welding everything. I should be able to move it back, then up and over the tube work.

I'm not following? Does it not have a floor in it? Or I'm guessing with the drivetrain pushed so far back you will need to cut out most of the floor anyhow. Just curious how you will lift it off?

Yep. No floor whatsoever right now.

I did once I started using it. I hit it with some white lithium grease. My sandwich maker also helped out with the assistant work doing this. It was nice to see she was curious about it. She was working some of the tools towards the end of the the replacement and install.

Also the weird shimmy at 35 mph is now gone.

Last time I tried to use a borrowed tool from Oreilly's the puller had a bent catch that did not catch. The $70 is cheap enough I can have my own tool and not have to hope someone else beat on it.

I bent the last one I rented. Apparently they don't like Tacoma ball joints lol
