What have you done to your ride lately?

Don't remember if I shared these pictures on here or not.
Got some bedside reinforcement from At The Helm Fab (on TW). They are some solid brackets and installed easily and made my bedsides square again, so much so that the over the taillight brackets I had (where I'd previously mounted my CB antenna) now don't fit without excessive rubbing on the tailgate. But I won't be able to keep my CB antenna mounted on these new brackets once my softtopper is back on and up. Maybe my taillight brackets are too thick or aren't angled correctly?

So what is plugged into the 3 connectors hanging down?

Also, what is that little brass colored dealio in the first pic at the top?

Those were actually two questions I was expecting. The brass colored thing is a crappy broken plastic hanger I had used to string some led rope lights around the bed for Christmas and Halloween.
The 3 connectors hanging were previously one connector for my old hard shell top, and now hook up to my softtopper (the top brake light)

Just hit the CB bracket with a flap disk to take a few thousandths of metal off until it clears the tailgate.

Kept at it over the weekend.
1. Hacked up the original dash to fit around the tube work and narrowed it some. Still need to notch the dash cover and make an aluminum cover to cover some of the hacking i did.
2. Installed the factory steering wheel and modified the column to use the factory 3/4" borgeson style joint and the 3/4" u-joint from the firewall. Shortened it some and connected it all to the orbital.

3. Orbital mount. Everything clears but its stupid tight.

4. Pic of the Jimmy's Wilwood pedal that i modified to the left for more foot room and for a sport for the gas pedal.

5. A shot of the drivers side floor pan welded in. Im leaving the front open for visibility for now. Not a fan of mud so if it gets too messy, ill enclose it. Engine will get an aluminum doghouse.

6. Modified the way i mounted the radiator. Still need to remove the tabs in the center of the crossbar.

7. Mounted the power steering cooler in front of the radiator. May try to squeeze the trans cooler in front of the radiator as well, but will probably just mount it in the rear next to the fuel cell on its own fan. Power steering cooler is offset to the drivers side so I can fit the winch control box in there somewhere.

Power steering resi will get mounted near the firewall on the drivers side. Lots of work left to do but its starting to take shape. 4 weeks left until the maiden voyage...i hope.

Does anyone have a link to hose clamps that will fit within the groove on the CV boot? The smaller side. I tried using some I had but they don't fit in the groove and came off after a short drive. I've got a zip tie on there for now, but don't have much confidence in that lasting long either or making a great seal.

I just used a clamp from VatoZone.

Edit... the small side I could just use one clamp but for the large side I had to put two together.. just be sure to try and get than as balanced as possible.

Of course I knew that.........

I'm not like stupid. Most of the time...
I thought they were but wanted to make sure that was normal. I'd dropped it accidentally and noticed it.

I still need to add the spacers to keep the heim joint in one position like where it is on the passenger side. The ones I used on my last setup were different so I need to make new ones. It's on my lengthy list.

Found the best spot for power steering reservoir. Gives the feed line a pretty direct shot to the pump. other than that, not much done last night.

I went to a local hardware store and managed to find some thinner ones. IIRC I had to put two of them together on the small side.
