My machined knuckles came in today. I might actually start stripping the taco this weekend, but I have to drop off the 14bolt for gears and lockers first. :D

The Honda left me stranded today on the way home from work. AC was blowing hot and looked down to my temp needle in the red.
Made it to an Oreilly after stopping twice to cool down. Coolant all over and looked like the lower hose. Pulled off and no cuts. Thermostat is closed and not opening. Hoping the coolant is just from the system releasing pressure from the cap and didn't burst the radiator.

Brian is on his way with the trailer since I'm 30 miles from home. @fsbrain03 I owe you

Well damn, Tacoma is getting shittier mileage. Had to drive up to Temple today so I filled up near the house and drove up, 109 miles round trip. Filled up at the same pump when I got back. Took 10.09 gallons to fill it up. 10 MPG! Granted I was on I35 where its 80-90 MPH most of the time... and so was I. But still. So I have some new plugs and filters in the garage. I will also pick up some MAF cleaner and some Seafoam for the injectors. Time for a tuneup! Might as well change the oil while I am at it.

My Tacoma was good about telling me when it needed new plugs. Platinum plugs, maf cleaned, throttle body cleaned made a noticeable difference.

Got the lower radiator hose and thermostat changed on the Honda. Filled it up with water and drove it around. Held temp so I came home. Parked it and fluid was puking out of it. Guess its time for a new radiator.

Had a few small delays so far so I got started later than I wanted. But so far so good. I have no clue how so much transmission fluid can be inside such a small area.

His. If he fucks up he will be riding his bike this week when the forcast is for 2-4" of rain.


Got the radiator replaced after some set backs with the ones from O'Reilly. Quality looked like crap with the fins being wavy and mounting holes for the fans not lining up. Ended up with one from autozone.
It idled in the garage for about 10 min with the AC going and never got hot so a test drive on the highway will be the real test.

Going to seal them up over the weekend and hope to get a 3-4 years out of them.
Rather sad they have to be replaced so often. This weekend (before I read Balakey's post) I saw a LexusRunner and thought to myself, replacing those headlights could make me want a Runner instead!
After the dumb bitch at Vatozone gave me 5 lug rotors and another trip back over to yell at them I finished up my brake job. The Powerstop brakes and rotors had a good life of 84k. The OEM set lasted 113K. New set is the duralast premium rotors and EBC green pads. Time will tell how they fare.

Replaced a few fender clips for the flares that have been broken for a while and added some of Nathan's push on molding to the fender for my rear bumper.
GE Black Silcone for the win. when I got rear-ended (one side) and slid into a rock berm (the other side) it may have effed up my quarter panels but the flares aren't going anywhere. Plan on doing that to the replacement fenders and quarters I'm about to put on the truck. :)
