Fixed my e-locker, so the crappy 8" rear end will live on for a few more years I hope

Not sure what the issue was, maybe the motor had skipped a gear or something but it wouldn't unlock before no matter how much I tried to lock and unlock it. All is good now so I guess that's all that matters

. I pulled it apart and cleaned the housing a bit then re-installed.
Here's a test to show how much the spur gear rotates when it's actuated, looks like around 180 degrees.
For shits and grins I tested my spare one, and it rotates about the same
Where it mounts to the 3rd member was full of gunk and starting to corrode a bit, took some persuasion to get it removed, so I re-coated the area where it butts up against the 3rd member with anti-seize

Re-installed the factory "guard" that comes on it

Then finally took the time to mount the e-locker armor I've had sitting around for about 8 years

While I was out in the shop I finally decided to fix up the Ford steering for good, ditched the old stabilizer in favor for a dual mounted king bling
PMF fab kit is pretty nice, the packaging and powder coating finish was also very good

Say goodbye to the stock 17 year old leaking stabilizer, don't think it was really doing much anyway

This should help dampen out any of the road bumps, the steering feedback seemed to have gotten a bit worse once I went to 35's so hopefully I can take it for a test drive and I'm sure there will be a noticeable difference
