What have you done to your ride lately?

He is a general mechanic and alignments. His weekend job is maintaining a 2000hp camaro for drag racing. He still uses old dials and lights for the alignment. No fancy machine for that.
Is that Tom? Still the best alignment I've ever had on a vehicle. And it was like $40.

TransGo install was successful; the reassembly was not. I had to go back inside of it to reconnect the manual valve to the gear selector. Yesterday when I put it back together I felt like complete crap and this is my lesson to NOT work on anything important in that condition. Hopefully I can have it fixed tonight and buttoned up tomorrow morning.

This guy? Screw this guy.

Swapped my jumper cables into a soft case instead of the blow molded case they came with. Saves a little space behind the seat. Think I copied this from @Silverback thanks again for the tip!

swapped on the new plates, adjusted the tension on the tonneau cover then cleaned up the shop a bit. I’ll probably change the oil this week, didn’t feel like dealing with that mess today.

Changed oil in the Tacomer last night, asked son to get me the milage, he "accidentally" starts it, while the filter is off and oil cap, holy mess, only ran for maybe 3 seconds, but it seemed liked 30 seconds, lol. He stayed up late cleaning truck and shop. Otherwise engine has great oil pressure!

No he probably won't. I wasn't real happy, I've been burning it from sun up, to past sunset everyday, I try and let all that shit go, after a few choice words, really surprised the catch bottle under the filter didn't get sucked into fan.

I had a neighbor many years ago who asked to borrow some tools cause he was going to change his oil. 2 hours go by and he asks me to come look at something. Says "its weird.. I put one quart in and its full already.... and look at the color of this oil" Yes, he had drained his transmission. So I take him up to auto parts store, he buys transmission fluid and another quart of oil. Back to change it.. fast forward another 2 hours and he comes back and asks me for a ride up to the parts store again. He forgot to put the drain plug back in and dumped all 4 or 5 quarts onto the ground. Unreal.

Well atleast it was the old oil that skyrocketed every where.

Yeah, did that with my motorcycle once. The drain hose had retracted back to the holder spot and I was not following the steps right. Thankfully I only wasted one quart of RP.
