Both lights are installed and wired up to the reverse light. They are bright enough they light up my garage in the day time. I am pretty sure they will more than meet my needs at night; maybe even piss a few people off. lol I will try to get a pic of them working tonight.

I did not realize they made guards for E-locker actuators. Makes me want to find a junkyard housing to start prepping for mine rather than using my current axle. Hmm.

The actuator tends to be the fail point on the e-locker. I still need to order my actuator armor.

Looks like I am picking up a 2001 4Runner that has been in a slight accident for a parts vehicle this weekend. The main assemblies have been spoken for already. The current plans are to replace my current catalytic converters, replace my current transmission with the parts 4R transmission with a Transgo shift kit installed, and replace my current rack and pinion that is starting to leak. There are a few little parts I am looking to move over also. I also will try to retain the spindles so as I can weld in the gussets and get them powder coated before installing them later.

I am going to see what kind of condition the rest of the 4Runner is in and harvest/box up all the parts that may come in handy later. I am thinking the side mirrors, tail lights, and head lights if possible.

What color is the interior? I need to replace all the plastic parts in the cargo area

Leaking lower ball joint on the passenger side. I guess I will be ordering parts from CamelBak sooner than I thought.

Yeah, looks like the front axle swap will be coming up soon. I might try to take a half done on a Friday to start it so as to be done easily by Sunday with all of it.

Overall thinking:
1) Front Axle install
2) Replace LBJs
3) Weld in the Spindle Gusset
4) Inspect power steering hoses

One way to fix that leaky BJ is with a nice ford Unit bearing D60. :shifty:
