Camped this weekend and my friends with twin 8 month olds came along along with other friends who have a 3yo and 5 month old. They reminded me that all my other friends who say they need to wait for their kids to get older before they take them camping are just bad or scared parents (medical/mental issues aside - talking 100% healthy kids).
My buddy's 3yo girl would run laps around most of my adult friends in regards to proper camp etiquette. That's because she's been camping with them and us since before she could walk.
First camping trip in decades I didn't have any alcohol or smoke a cigarette. Felt nice, but weird. Tell you one thing - waking up at 4-5am with energy was nice compared to waking up at 9am hung over hacking up a lung. I should of tried this healthy living stuff out decades ago
