Just ordered some Peterson small primer 260 brass. Hoping these primer pockets hold up better than the Lapua large primers did.
got 2k 6.5mm 136gr scenars in the Mail the other day also.
shot the best group ever with my rifle the other day at the range too. Shot 2 groups that were sub 1/4” at 100 and another group at 400 that was probably 1.5” or so. All 5 shot groups of course.
this one was .156” center to center
769 rounds since the last time I cleaned the barrel. All suppressed.

You guys see the recall on powder going on right now? Check your stock - apparently it can combust on it's own. It's all pre 2016 dated powder.

That's my plan for anything I know little about. Take notes on things I should look up later.Guessing preppers maybe?
The only thing I know about reloading is that I know so little about it so I should keep my trap shut![]()
That is both awesome and impressive!
Sig's military salesman or woman must be living underneath that desk along with a lot of kickbacks. Jeez...Looks like we will have a new source of quality 300 Win Mag brass soon. I wonder who us making the brass for Sig.

I didn’t read that article/link, but that contract got awarded last year.
The Army has been using that round for about 10yrs now, now it’s just going to be used a lot more.
They have been using the 300WM off and on for a couple decades. The issue for ammo was it has always been small batch orders and never enough to start an aftermarket supply for brass. The Lake City 308Win brass is common enough that there are plenty of people selling once fired cases for reloading. I have some 300WM once fired brass from a military contract but it was from a small batch still.
This will be nice to see a large quantity of match grade brass become available for a round that does not get much reloading match grade support. Overall I just want to be able to reload the thing cheaper.
how can they F up powder? what pita, I really Hope I don’t have any these.
Still experimenting to find the right .264 Win Mag recipe. I have a load that is acceptable but feel it can be better. Ordered some more powder and bullets today to try out. Ramshot Magnum and IMR 4831 powder. Also some Barnes 127 grain LRX bullets.
Going to also use the 4831 powder in my .243 with some 95 grain ballistic tips and 100 grain Sierra gamekings.
