My brother got to shoot on a 2,100 ft range a few weeks ago, he told me he was hitting the steel targets(iirc he said the scope was dialed in and basically he was aiming 34ft above the target ) he thought was pretty cool, the weather prohibited them from moving up to the next longer range.

3.34 is max. I was at 3.30 this last time and it seemed to help tighten up groups.

I am good with the groups I shot so if I dont get it to shrink, .876" from a hunting rifle is very good IMHO.

Just for confirmation I would test a 3 shot group with the bullet seated .05 deeper. Some bullets like the jump.

That's the plan. Will seat a touch deeper and then will also go plus and minus .1 grain on the powder.
After that I will be curious on the speed. Estimating 3000 fps and 3100 fps.

How did you determine your powder charge?

Read about people tumbling their brass in rice and decided to give it a try. I will say I like it a lot better than the walnut shells I was using. No dust and the brass is clean and shiny.

Also, how much neck tension do you have? Are you annealing your brass?
