, not sure when she died, a raccoon or yote might find her tonight for a tasty dinner. You need to buy one and install one of those DIY Mr. Cool mini-splits for your garage man.Got all the metal shavings cleaned up. Got the solar panels permanently secured. Got all the holes where a wires comes into the rack setup with a grommet and then some RTV. Working on some other stuff .. might have it done in a day or three. Just SO.. FUCKING.. HOT! HI was 110.
Sharpie in the white linesStill pushing forward with my "get one thing done a day" approach. But man I am wiped out at this point. Will probably only clean up the bed and floor under the truck after this tonight. I really need to get under it and tidy up the wiring.. get it all in looms and cushion clamped out of the way. Anyhow, got the passenger side power panel installed. The "white" lines coming up from the top is where my die grinder got away as I made the holes big enough. Whoops.

What brand was previous isolator? I've got the isolator and cover from Step22. Also made in the USA. They've held up well.Ordered some stuff to refinish the composite bed. Also swapped out the HiLift jack handle isolator with a DayStar version (bonus.. made in America). I must say it feels much nicer. I've had many HiLift isolators fall apart after a year or so. But this seems to be a much better material. Time will tell.
It has moved less than 500 miles in 2 years. But the Ozark trip was a motivator, as was recently losing someone close to me who was fairly young.

I bought two isolators and that seems to have helped make them last. The covers fall apart after a year or so in the sun.It was the HiLift brand version. It was a newer one so it was in good condition still. But they don't last that long.
